The last night on the road on our way to the Burg was spent at the
Cliffs of the Neuse State Park near Goldsborough, North Carolina.

Of course, on our way there we stopped at a winery! This one is
called Silver Coast and is not too far north of Myrtle Beach across the
North Carolina line. Their reds all had some sort of off taste but their
whites, including a nice no-oak chardonnay, were not too bad. We bought
a couple whites but passed on the reds.

Our high-tech camping sound system: XM radio connected to Logitech
speaker. The speaker can also dock our iPod and we can play the XM, as
well as the iPod, through the van sound system.

The park and campground were nearly deserted. It was a good, quiet,
peaceful place to stay.

When we got to our Williamsburg house, everything was green and
blooming, the house was still standing and the sun was shining! Here it
is from the front and back!
