Jake spent most of the day in the water, honing his body board/skim board/body surfing skills, reluctantly coming ashore now and then to refuel with a sandwich or granola bites

Later we cooked shrimp on the barbie, had a fire in the chiminea and even later, had a wii bowling tournament.

Saturday, July 26, State Beaches and then the Evers house.

It was a little breezy and cloudy but Jake and I still managed to get in some good beach bocce ball practice while the girls worked on their beauty tans.

Later, we headed over to the Evers of Escondido for a relaxing dinner by the pool and an excellent visit with Steve, Lynn, Ashley, Greg (Ash's b-friend) and Sara.
