Visit to Williamsburg, Virginia, November, 2011
Lisy, Tom, Edna, Mike and Jeremy visit
Time for another trip to the beautiful and historic town of Williamsburg, VA, otherwise known as "the Burg"
Fall colors were in full force. These scenes are from the "Historic Area". I took a lot of photos on this trip and have posted a lot here.
Those are historic cannons, a historic shoppe and some historic people in a window.
One day we managed to pull my brother Bob away from reading historic books and go for a walk through the woods.
Which lead us to the golf course clubhouse where we were forced to have a Bloody Mary which gave us the strength to hike back to the car.
Here we are, gaining strength.
On Friday the 4th, Debbie drove down from Baltimore and Malarie drove in from Salem, VA, for a weekend visit.
We celebrated Deb's, Bob's and MY birthdays! These are photos from Friday night.
The next day was bright and sunny so we walked a little in the HA.
Then I think we went to Bonefish.
Then it was back to Dogwood Drive for more celebrating with Uncle Hobble.
"You people!"
Yet another sunny day, this time we're at Jamestowne with Pocahontas.
...and of course, John Smith. The dig is the site of the original 1608 church were, according to the ranger, Mr Smith and Ms Pocahontas got married.
From here down are a whole bunch of CW photos. Sorry, can't help myself.

Guess which photo is for Debbie.
