Baltimore, June 17 to 24

Why Baltimore you may ask? Family! Daughter Debbie and son-in-law Mike and their whole extended family lives there (except us!).

That includes our grandkids, Mal and Jake, Mal's hubby Colin, and Great-grandkids Liv and Sloane.

We arrived Tuesday evening and spent some quiet recovery time with Deb and Mike. The next day Debbie was working and Mike had grand-kid duty so Lorri and I took the opportunity to have a nice lunch.

We planned to return the following Monday for "All Day $1 Oyster Hour" but never made it.

The food was great! Not quite a Maine lobster roll but pretty good!

Maryland crab cake sandwich! I deconstructed it slightly to reveal plenty of lump crab meat! The fries were good too!

We picked up some party favors on the way home

The kids had some fun with them

And so did Jakey!

The Bees!

I Bee-lieve this is Liv and Mal

Cyclone Sloane was here!

The Great Grandparents

Next day, Thursday, out to lunch with Deb.

I had the seared ahi "nachos". Very well done! The plate, I mean, not the ahi. That was rare.

Cheers to Thursday evening happy hour!

J&J selfie

Cheers to the family!

The girls somehow needed to learn the Macarena and one thing led to another and, well, I got a little of the action on videos:

That's it!

The Rayburns!

And...they're off

And the next day, we were off, but not before gassing up the rental car with gas that is $2/gallon cheaper that San Diego. Hard to believe.

At BWI preparing for takeoff!

Safe on the ground in San Diego!

Good to be home but missing everyone already!
