Surveyors and Mappers go Golfing!
Last weekend the Hunsaker condos in Palm Desert were invaded by a motley group of calcers, mappers, a computer guy and a retired guy to play some golf, have a couple beverages and play a hand or two of poker, not to mention watching the Lakers/Sixers game, Stanley Cup Finals, Belmont Stakes, French Open and various other TV sporting events. Here are a few photos from the golf outing.
The Golfers: Tom Slater, Tony Nothdurft, Ken Haynes, Doug (I can barely stand up) Stroup, Dave Viera, Dana Seguin, Don Broussard & Jack Hill

Dave & Pete's Great Adventure
Unfortunately, two of the group, Dave Ambler and Pete van den Berg, chose not to play golf. They were supposed to stay at the condos and keep the beer cold but instead borrowed Jack's GPS receiver and had a great adventure on the Tram and on the slopes of Mount San Jacinto. They inadvertently left their GPS "track" and some notes on the receiver. I felt obligated to share these with everyone. Click the image below to see what they were up to while the others played golf.
