New Friends

This was our second cruise and we've learned that half the fun of cruising is meeting new people and making new friends. Below are some of our new friends who helped to make this cruise a blast.

05 John & Eileen Bernard.JPG (51092 bytes)    08 Graeme G Colton & Ed Van Dyne.JPG (64385 bytes)  07 Mr Ed.JPG (53045 bytes)

John & Eileen Bernard from New Hampshire (click here to see John & Eileen's formal ship's photographer photo!), the ever affable Ed Van Dyne from Ithica, NY, and his cousin Graeme G. Colton from my former hometown of Philadelphia along with Howard & Lola Carney (not pictured) from Kansas City, MO,  were our dinner companions for most of the trip. I added an extra photo of Ed on the right because he is so photogenic.

01 Sally & Barry Priest.JPG (49364 bytes)  06 L Eileen Dennis Janos.JPG (62667 bytes)  Mike L & Monica.JPG (69054 bytes)

We shared good times and a few cocktails with Sally and Barry Priest from Conifer, CO. In the middle of the middle photo is the Englishman, Dennis, who was absolutely everywhere we turned on the ship. Dennis was at our table the first evening but soon found a young (well, not so young) lady to join at a different table. To the right of Dennis is Janos, our assistant waiter. On the right is Michael & Monica Nedler from Denver. I thought I had a photo of them from formal night but I guess I don't. We had a lot of fun with Mike & Monica - shopping, lunches, shows, cocktails (occasionally) and just hanging around.

03 Cornell & Janos.JPG (43565 bytes)  04 L & Ronnie wine guy.JPG (68781 bytes)

Our assistant waiter, Janos, and main waiter Corneliu, known as Cornell. On the right is Lorri with Ronnie the wine guy. We were his best customer! These three did a great job.
