We found a nice little motel a few blocks from cannery row and went out Friday afternoon scouting sports bars for a place to watch the Penn State - Wisconsin game the next morning. We found quite a few sports bars but none that opened before  11:00 AM. Can you believe that? The PSU game started at noon eastern time and by 11:00 AM pacific time it was nearly over. Not only that, we couldn't find a place that carried ESPN College Gameplan, so we missed the entire game! Bummer. They lost. Double bummer.

The photos on this page were taken in Monterey, city if crummy sports bars. Don't ever go there to watch college football. The aquarium isn't bad, though.
