Seaport Village & Hotel Del Coronado
August 19 & 20, 2001
It's now Tuesday morning, August 21, and Malarie and Debbie are on their way back to Baltimore. It sure is lonely (and quiet) around here. These are the photos from the last two days. I guess old Gpj will have to add the comments since the Malmyster is gone.
Seaport Village and the Boat/Bus
We had bloody marys and brunch at Sally's, near Seaport Village, where Debbie pronounced their crab cakes "Baltimore worthy". On the left are gpj and Deb with our "build your own" bloody m's. Gml and Mal in the middle and Deb & Mal on the wall on the right.
We took a tour on the big blue amphibious vehicle which left from Seaport Village and went for a dip on Mission Bay and then zipped over to Shelter Island for a dip in San Diego Bay. The photo on the left is actually a photo of their promotional poster. Next is Deb & Mal on the bus on Coast Highway, then a shot of the skyline from the bay and on the right, the bus/boat as it pulled away from Seaport Village.
Hotel Del Coronado
On Monday we went for lunch and shopping at the Hotel Del.
In the middle photo, Malarie models Gpj's new hat. On either side are the gp's with Mal.
