Our dear, dear, dear friend Edith flew all the way from the OC, CA,
to visit us here in the Historic Triangle, and while she was here we
managed to visit all three corners of it.

Here we are in Williamsburg taking in the "Rev City" street
theater show near the Capitol.

Next we went to Jamestown to help celebrate the 400th at
Anniversary Park, Jamestowne Settlement and Historic Jamestowne. The
second picture above is for Wendy proving that she's not the only Donks
in the world.

These are from Jamestowne Settlement.

...and these are from Historic Jamestown where we happened to
catch part of a speech by VA Governor Tim Kaine, who was pretty funny
but I bet our Gov. Ahnold could beat him up.

We had lunch and did some wine tasting at the Williamsburg Winery.

Then it was back to Colonial Williamsburg.

On the 14th of May we went to Yorktown!

Then it was martini time which we enjoyed in our outdoor living area,
otherwise known as the carport. As always, we had a great time with
Edith!

There is a small cherry tree in our back yard and this is, or was,
this year's crop. The birds or squirrels stole them shortly after this
photo was taken, or maybe a deer ate them. |
