On May 21 we headed north for a couple days of
visiting with the grandkids, Mal and Jake, as well as their ma and pa,
Deb & Mike.

We got to see the legendary Cooper Compound, pictured
above, the scene of endless parties and gatherings hosted by Barbara and
Lance. The answer to the question "Hey Deb, where are you going for 4th
of July (substitute and major or non-major holiday)?" is invariably "The
Coopers". Well now I understand why. They have a great place and seem
like great people! That's Barbara between Deb and Lorri.

Later we went to pick up Michelle and Mal Mal up at
school. I was hanging out the window taking photos, much to the
embarrassment of both of them, especially Mal. They got over it, but I
wasn't invited back to pick them up the next day.
Among the exciting activities was watching Deb touch
up Lorri's roots. Hilarious!

One of our main reasons for traveling to Baltimore
was to see Jakes artwork in his school art show. Jake had some excellent
works in pressed metal and paper mache.
