We had a great time visiting with the McHugh Clan in
Chagrin Falls and University Heights, Ohio. Usually I would edit and
limit the the number of photos I would post, but in this case, I'm going
to post all the ones I found on my camera - the good, the bad and
the...well, there were no ugly ones.
Tuesday evenings are "all you can eat ribs and fries"
nights at Rick's Cafe in downtown Chagrin Falls - the perfect spot for
ths family to gather. This was our first glimpse of John Thomas "Baby
Jack" McHugh, Sean and Ashlee's four-month-old cutie and our second
encounter with the mysterious redhead, Kate Hammond, the year-and-a-half
old tyke of Jon and Elise.

Ah, the family grows and things change. A
few years ago, BK (before kids), this type of gathering would have
lasted 'til the wee hours, with plenty of shots and beers, singing,
shouting and what not. I think we all left Rick's before dark. Luckily,
Lauren came back to the house with us and we stayed up talking and
drinking and being thankful that we don't have kids.
The next evening, Sean & Ashlee hosted a
cook-out and we all gathered on their back porch and back yard for
burgers, beers, babies and bean-bag tossing. I just can't bring myself
to refer the the bean-bag game by its local label. I do, however, feel
compelled to mention the the Penn State Alumni Team of Sean & I handily
defeated Kevin & Jon, two out of two.

Yes, that's me holding two kids. Am I not
a natural? I didn't drop either of them.

Here we are pitching corn, I mean bean
bags.

We had a great visit and after a nice
walk through the Metroparks and an excellent Mary-cooked breakfast on
Thursday morning, we were off.
