My Honored Teammate

Lora Simone
In her words: "I was diagnosed in march of 2000 with stage 4 Non-Hodgkns Lymphoma. I received 8 rounds of CHOP (chemotherapy). My tumors were smaller, but still remained. After meeting with a bone marrow transplant specialist, I received 2 more rounds of ESHAP (another chemotherapy). Luckily, one of my sisters was a perfect match for my transplant!!! After 6 full body radiation treatments, I was checked into Thornton Hospital for my transplant. I have been in remission for 2 wonderful years! I have been battling with Graft vs. Host Disease from my transplant, but it's getting better every day! :-)"
Please help me help Lora and so many others whose lives have been affected by Leukemia or Lymphoma. Thank you.
