Guess who's eyes...

The big family weekend of March 24th actually got off to a roaring start with the arrival of Elise Hammond who drove from Cleveland (an eight hour drive according to Elise, if you go the speed limit) and then a little later, her sister flew in to the Williamsburg/Newport News Regional airport from New York City, her new hometown.

Here we all are getting the weekend off to a fast start.

Next arrivals were the Filling family, Mike, Deb, Mal & Jake.

Jake & Elise, Lauren and Mike (The Terps were just eliminated from the NCAA's), The boys, Jake and a football catching a few z's.

Tom Lucey recently went to the United Arab Emirates where he bought these Middle Eastern head pieces for Jake and Mal. Needless to say, they weren't the only ones to try them on.

The next day we went to CW with Uncle Hobble, our tour guide. On the left are Deb, Bob and Mike inside to Bruton Parish Church. Jake and Mike in the middle and the girls are on the right.

On the grounds of the Governor's Palace (don't say "mansion") is an old-fashioned hedge maze which you can see in the background behind the aMAZEing Malarie.

Next to arrive were Lisy and Edna, late Friday night. Edna's Hubby Mike couldn't make it due to work commitments. We'll have to have a talk with that boy.

The girls snuck off to the Winery for a while. Here they are with some of the staff. Later they went back to the swank Colonel Waller Resort where Elise and Lauren were staying. The photo was taken in front of their suite.

Finally, John, Jen and Solomon arrived and the gang was all there, at least all of the gang that was going to get there.
