We had been planning this trip for quite a while, using our frequent flier miles to be with Jack's side of the family over the Thanksgiving holidays. When we planned the trip we had no way of knowing the Jack's sister would die suddenly in late August. So this trip took on special significance. It was a time to be together and give thanks together for what we all have and have had, to remember Mary, and of course to do what Mary would have wanted us all to do: HAVE FUN AND PARTY!!!
The center of activities was brother Bob's house which he calls "The Burg" and I call "Chez Bob", but no matter what you call it, it withstood two solid weeks of good times and is still standing.
