We're back in San Diego now and I've added updates nine and ten which take us from Austin, TX, to home. It's great to be back!

Welcome to Jack & Lorri's second great cross-country adventure. Today is Sunday, February 25th, five days from departure. If all goes well, we'll be heading across I-8 from San Diego toward Yuma and Tucson, AZ, on Friday. Then on to New Mexico, Texas, New Orleans and Florida! We're taking the digital camera, the trusty IBM ThinkPad, the mighty Sportsmobile (above), a few assorted clothes, some food and beer and we're out a here!

Just for your entertainment, I'll be adding a travelogue and photos as we make our way. The plan is to camp for a few nights and then stay in a motel or hotel for a day or two to recover. I don't think there will be modem hookups where we're planning on camping, so I'm planning on doing the updates during our motel stays.
