March 29, 2003, a beautiful spring day in San Diego! I've been reading about how the desert flowers are at their peak right now and 100% better than last year because of the rains. As I was strolling around the backyard lamenting the fact that we probably wouldn't get out to the desert any time soon, I looked around and realized I was surrounded by flowers and blooms!
