Zion, Las Vegas, Home
Zion is only about 85 miles from Bryce. We drive there thinking we would spend the day and camp there the next night but it was crowded and we thought it might be fun to spend a couple days in Las Vegas instead. We called the Venetian and reserved a room and headed out. But here are a couple photos from the Zion area.

Next stop: Las Vegas! The Venetian is a great hotel. Our "suite" was on the 23rd floor overlooking the pool area and the north end of the Strip. We could see the pirate show at Treasure Island across the street. We don't gamble much but we're pretty good at lying around the pool area and drinking mai-tais. Below is the Venetian sign and Lorri in our room.
Las Vegas
Finally, On July 18th we arrived back in San Diego! It was a great trip. Now we had two months of mail and bills to catch up on. Resettling and reorganizing, cleaning, fixing and relaxing. It was good to be home. Below is Lorri in the back yard.
