Spicy Vodka Shrimp Shooters! Thaw the shrimp.
Peel the shrimp
Ballast Point Habanero vodka and cocktail sauce. Mix some of each together with chopped celery and jalapeño
Cook the shrimp
Cook the shrimp a little more then give them an ice bath
Fill the shot glasses, add some chopped lettuce.
Then add a shrimp and perhaps a little cilantro. Shoot it!
OK, we had the photos so I posted them. We brought these to Tom and Patty's instead of our usual shrimp dip. Mixed reviews; we'll go back to the dip next year, or maybe bring some of each.
Our first stop was to have Thanksgiving brunch at Remington Club with Lorri's dad. Here we are with Darius in the middle.
And here we are with me in the middle. We had a nice time with Mr. Vierling and the food and wine were good. The trick is to pace one's self so as not to spoil the upcoming feast at the Thompsons.
Next we checked into our nearby hotel to regroup for a while then we joined the extended Thompson clan for an afternoon and evening of eating, drinking and Thanksgiving.

Patty, Steve, Suzy Mike (not here this T-day) and John are siblings.
Patty is married to Tom. They have three kids, Ryan, Trevor and Katie. Ryan is married to Kim, Trev is single and Katie is married to Ryan Canavan. Tom's mom is Lorraine or "nani"
Steve is married to Lynn who is Lorri's sister. Ashley and Sara are their kids and their boyfriends are Frank and Darius, respectively.
Suzy is married to Tony and their kids are Nick and Chris. Rachel is Nick's S.O. and Hailey (not here this T-day) is Chris's
Mike and his daughter Jennafer were not here this T-day but Jenny is a stalwart trouble-making member of the band of cousins (Scuzzies, as they refer to themselves.
John has no kids and likes it that way.
