THURSDAY, FRIDAY & SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 19 & 20, 2004
Here are the brothers, Jack & Bob, enjoying a little sippin' whiskey
First to arrive after Jack & Lorri were Bob's daughter Edna and her husband Mike, sometimes known as "Fred" so as not to be confused with the other Mike, Jack's son-in-law, but he wasn't there yet so Mike was Mike, not Fred, got it?
Bob's other daughter Lisy showed up on Friday and together Lisy & Edna worked very hard to create new hairstyles for each other.
It was Bob's birthday, so he pulled out his recently re-discovered baby book for the kids to check out. He was such a cute little baby...
SATURDAY
Jack's daughter Debbie and her son Jacob (poor Malarie, the other grandkid, was stuck on a Caribbean cruise for the week so she couldn't make it) showed up on Saturday as did big Tom Lucey. This was cause to celebrate and Irish Car Bombs seemed like a good idea at the time.
Soon we were joined by young John Lucey and his lovely wife Jennifer. There they are surrounded by Lisy and Edna.
Jake's birthday was coming up soon, so we decided to celebrate a little early.
Bob and I did most of the shopping. The Tony Gwinn figurine Lorri & I brought from San Diego but the other stuff came straight from the Williamsburg K-Mart. What more could a ten-year-old want than a nice case of poker chips (we played a lot of Texas Hold 'em), an electronic dart board and a set of Monster Missiles?
