LATER SATURDAY NIGHT....

The stage was set for a major celebration.

Edna, John, Jen, Lisy, Jack, Deb & Tom gather 'round the kitchen table.

Father & Daughter; Lisy & Deb

Edna decided tonight was the night to let loose, so after a car bomb or two and maybe a few glasses of wine she got out the "Holiday Specs". They look like the old 3-D goggles but when you look at a light source, like Christmas tree lights, you see a blurry image of a snowman, a Christmas tree, a snowflake, or other seasonal image, surrounding each light.

Naturally, these were a big hit with the family. We didn't have a Christmas tree to look at so we ran around the yard looking at streetlights and what not and marveling at the wonders of modern technology. When I was a kid we had to take drugs to see cool stuff like this!

Here Debbie and Edna (who were having an extremely good time) first attack Bob and then poor Tom who was relaxing peacefully (sleeping?) in the comfortable red chair.

Edna spent a good part of the evening being "Amber" the character from SNL who apparently (I haven't seen it) hops around on one leg while incorporating sort of a shoulder wiggle. She was hilarious. You had to be there.

Yours truly wearing Bob's work tie over a sweatshirt, drinking a martini (what's new?) and enjoying the view of life through snowman glasses. Life doesn't get much better.

At around 2 AM we thought it would be a good idea to sit on the back porch and listen to Lisy play some blues riffs while John made up the lyrics. I must say the Lisy is very talented and John's Lyrics were, um, interesting. And so ended another great Saturday night family get-together.
