The West Virginia Page
Well, this is the only photo we took in West Virginia. The sign on the bridge says "Welcome to West Virginia". Right, nice welcome. At least they could have arranged a little sunshine... We drove south on I-77 from Cleveland into WV stopping for the night just north of Charleston. The next day we drove through Charleston and got on Scenic US Route 60 heading east. Route 60 in this area is called the Midland Trail and, on our trusty Rand McNally, even has little dots next to it signifying its designation as a scenic highway. It WAS very scenic and next time we pass that way, I promise I'll take some photos. So much for West Virginia.
