San Diego to Mesquite, NV
400 exciting miles up I-15 from our home in San Diego lies the town of Mesquite, Nevada. We decided to stay there mainly because it's about halfway between home and Moab, Utah, where we planned to be the following day. The following photos should give you and idea of just how exciting this drive is. Important Notice: If you've ever made this drive you may want to skip this page. Hopefully the rest of this journey won't be as boring.

Here is the exit for 215, a shortcut that usually takes longer due to traffic. We stayed on I-15 toward Corona, which by the way, is NOT where they make the beer.
"FISHING" yeah, right. You try fishing there.

After about an hour we got to Rte 91. We were excited to see the4 sign for Barstow! Now we were getting somewhere.

Mesquite!!!
Views from our room at the Oasis "Resort" in Mesquite. The good news from Mesquite is that I made two bets, one on Monday night football and one on Penn State (+10 against Nebraska) and won them both. I'm rich! Not really.
