Mesquite, NV, to Moab, UT
Tuesday, September 9, 2003, we left Mesquite and headed north across the northwest corner of Arizona and into Utah. This ride was almost as fun as the San Diego to Mesquite run the day before. I know there are a lot of people out there who would say there are some great places to see (like Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks for instance) along this route, and I agree. But when you're trying to get somewhere on the Interstates you don't have time to really appreciate the scenery. It just goes by. Here is what some of it looked like.

After a few zillion miles on I-15 it was finally time to turn east on I-70. So we did.

Only 393 mile to Denver but we weren't going that far today.

Finally we got off the Interstate and headed to our friend's place outside of Moab. This is the Colorado River near Arches National Park.
